Frequently Asked Questions

How many guests can we invite to our wedding at Faithwood Chapel?

Faithwood Chapel is designed for intimate celebrations and can comfortably welcome up to 24 Guests plus up to 8 at the Altar including the two of you. This number includes Children 2+, babies are not included. The maximum capacity including Celebrant, Photographer, Videographer, Content Creator is 35 and this must be split 24-8 for comfort and experience.

Can we bring our dog?

Yes!

How long is the aisle?

Approximately 5-6m from the Foyer Curtain to the Altar. If you’re planning a timed aisle walk, aim for 10-15 seconds walking at a relaxed pace. We recommend having a pause in front of the white curtain for effect, before commencing your walk.

How should we schedule our ceremony, and florists, within our allocated time slot?

We recommend scheduling your Guest arrival at your Time Slot start and you ceremony to start 15 minutes into your allocated time slot. This allows time for guest arrival and ensuring everyone is comfortably seated. Example: 2-4pm Time Slot. Guests invited for 2pm, Ceremony starts at 2:15pm.

If you have external suppliers we recommend adding ‘Time After Time’ - 1 additional hour of hire time to your booking for their setup before your guests arrive. We will be unable to accomodate set-up for suppliers or well-intentioned guests arriving early due to the nature of the Chapel’s schedule and strictly need external suppliers to bump in and out within your allocated hire time of the Chapel. We host multiple weddings each day, we offer private viewings and hold meetings at the Chapel as well as lovingly clean and reset between weddings. The Chapel is by Appointment Only. You can add ‘Time After Time’ at the time of your Booking, in your Booking Reservation link.

Can we bring our own confetti or Rose Petals?

No need! We provide beautiful white paper confetti for use at your ceremony.

Are we allowed to bring candles to the chapel?
For safety reasons, we ask that any candles brought to the venue be LED only. This ensures a worry-free and beautiful ambiance for your special day.

Where is parking located, and how do we ensure accessibility for all guests?

We share our main carpark with our neighbours, and we cannot guarantee carparking. We reserve 2 carparks for the Wedding Couple using our Chapel Traffic cones. There are 8 additional parks available at Eights Reserve on Sportsman’s Drive, just 60 meters from the Chapel. We kindly request that able-bodied guests arriving early use these spaces, leaving the parking directly in front of the Chapel for guests with limited mobility or those arriving closer to the ceremony start time.

Can we extend our photography session outside the Chapel?

Absolutely! You can add additional photography time to your package through your Reservation Link in your client portal when booking. Many couples choose to add one extra hour for portraits such as North Terrace in the city, the Botanic Gardens or the beach. Let us help you capture even more unforgettable memories!

How many bottles of Champagne should we bring?

We recommend bringing at least 6 bottles of Champagne for a full house, it can’t hurt to have an extra bottle or two, and some guests will be into the bubbles a lot more than others. If you’re having a big party afterwards and getting married later in the day, more bubbles. For a morning or brunch wedding, Nana might not want 2-3 glasses before midday - but maybe your Nana will!
Champagne service is a paid-add on, you can add this at the time of booking or anytime before your Wedding.

Can we bring a cake to cut?

Absolutely, simply add the Champagne and Cake Service add-on at the time of booking. We can have your cake on display for a photo opportunity, or if you’d like to serve your cake along with champagne simple let us know in your Pre-Wedding Questionnaire and we’ll have everything ready.
If you would like guests to enjoy cake and champagne, we require the payment of the food and beverage fee as this accounts for the additional clean up required.
